As the author (hi!), I'm biased, of course, but this one's really good. I set out looking to dive deeper into the Tallisker Corporation, a multinational business empire run by literal demons. I mean, what's that like? Exploring those themes of power and responsibility through the lens of a character familiar to the readers grounds the story in a way I think makes it very human.
And Jason Bishop knocked the narration out of the park once again! He's given each member of the squad a unique style. The jokes are crisp, the tension's simmering, and it's all read with a pace and clarity that easily brings the story to life. Big thanks to Jason for his continued awesomeness.
